MOMMA

Today is the day that we all, at least take a pause, and reflect upon our Mothers. Sweet or bitter, we all stop for at least a moment and think about "she that brung us". Momma was quite "The Little Woman". All three of her children towered over her, but that never stopped her from throwing her weight around. She would strike "The Fear of God" into the largest of men! Our relationship was a rocky one at times and it was very difficult to get any praise from her. I used to laugh and tell her that she loved Bobby more than she ever loved me-he could do no wrong! The road was not always easy in our relationship, but she taught me many a valuable lesson. In the years since her passing, I have come to one very important conclusion-Momma did the best she could and I am glad that she was my Momma. I hope my children realize someday that I did the best I could and indeed did love them more than life itself!

For all of you Mothers that are in the trenches, my advice is enjoy the day and hang in there. It can become overwhelming and it is a HUGE and very important job to be a Mom, but the rewards follow you for a lifetime. You all have my deepest admiration! Laugh-smile and take a DEEP breathe-THEY REALLY DO GROW UP FAST!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OF MY FAVORITE MOMS!

Happy Mother's Day to you and yes, there is no Mom's College out there and our Mom's do the best they know and we do, too. So the cycle goes on and on....we forgive our Moms for their errors and our kids forgive us ours and they will pray for their children to forgive them their mistakes. As long as we forgive the circle will go unbroken.
