HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?

Lantana or Butterfly Bush
Out of Focus Carolina Jasmine

Wish I Could Remember The Name Flower

Miniature Daylily

The wedding is over and I spent part of the afternoon doing what I love-working in my yard. The above are a few of the flowers that are currently blooming. The spirea and late blooming azalea are also blooming. I love this time of the year! I weeded one of my large beds and pulled up winter flowers and dug up a couple of lantana. The lantana are always beautiful, but they tend to take over the entire bed. Every year they get bigger and last year I ended up having to cut them back several times. That means I have open spots to fill and a trip to the nursery. I will be like a kid in a candy store!

We have a family reunion at our house two weeks from yesterday. I was on the phone today with the carpenter and painter. I nicely told both of them that I knew I was being a nag-BUT. They will be here tomorrow & Wednesday. Who says you can't catch a bee with honey?

Larry & I ran 5 miles this AM. Where was Mel? THE REALLY GOOD NEWS is that Babs & Sandra came after our run and walked a mile with us. The injured and infirm are on their way back! And of course, Mrs. Sandra ran the 2 miles from her house to the meeting spot and ran back. You just cannot keep a good woman down!

Only wish I could have run 2 miles and then back home. Ran only when I got to 167 and then walked back to the house. It took me longer to walk from my house than I thought and I was not there at 7 a.m. May 26th is my "Back to Running" Day!!!!!!! Enjoyed the walk and the weather!! Sandra
