SPRING HAS COME

Spring has officially arrived. We spent a little time late this afternoon driving around and looking at the beautiful "Dogwood Trees" and the other blooming plants and trees around town. Although the grass has not turned green yet, it is not long away. We drove to Zachary in South Louisiana Friday night and returned yesterday. The grass is green as near as 100 miles away and I am sure it will slowly creep North in the coming days. The weeds are already green which is a precursor to the grass turning, so in the days to come it will be time to get out the lawn mower and begin the long summer task of mowing.
