One of yesterday's scripture that I read during my time with The Father:

"As for God, his way is perfect;

the word of the Lord is flawless.

He is a shield

for all who take refuge in Him.

For who is God besides the Lord?

And who is the Rock except our God?

It is God who arms me with strength

and makes my way perfect.

He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;

he enables me to stand on the heights."

Psalm 18: 30-33

Look back at my recent posts and see the reoccurring theme of the deer.

Today was my LAST 10 mile mid-week long run. Mel ran the first 5 with me and then I was on my own. Yesterday while praying, I was weeping and pleading for God to draw me close and reveal Himself to me. I asked for His perfect will to be the rule of my life.

As I ran down a short street to a cul de sac-----5 deer ran across the road in front of me. They turned and crossed back over the road again in just a few seconds. One of the babies had gotten behind, and his Mother turned again and they all crossed one more time in front of me---all protecting "The Baby" who was behind. I was SO thankful for this glimpse of God and a reminder that He is protecting me. He is faithful.

I turned around at the end of the street and then one deer and one deer only -the largest of the 5 crossed in front of me again. He ran slowly and then walked up and down the fence row as I ran by. Almost as if he wanted to be sure that I had seen Him.

I DO see Him and my eyes are fixed upon Him. What a blessing!

Online guitar lessons are a great way to learn guitar. Cheaper and more convenient than private studio lessons, the technology is now at a point where the difference in quality is nonexistent and actually has many advantages.

The French gourmet cheese Bleu d'Auvergne has a wonderful aroma, a rich taste; the saltiness increases with the incidence of veining. The overall flavor is piquant but not overly sharp. Bleu d'Auvergne started life as an imitation of Roquefort, using cow's milk in place of sheep's milk. Legend has it that a peasant, around 1845, decided to inject his cheese with a blue mold that he found growing on his left-over bread (the motto being, waste not, want not). And thus, the gourmet cheese Bleu d'Auvergne was born. This French gourmet blue cheese comes from the region of Auvergne and the cheese is made from milk of Salers and Aubrac cows. The rind is very thin and so the cheese is usually wrapped in foil. The cheese is rich and creamy with a pale yellow color and scattered holes and well-defined greenish-blue veining. We cut and wrap this cheese in wedge of 8 ounces and 1 pound.
