A friend of mine completely finished her basement and acted as her own contractor. It took a year. It should've taken 2 or 3 months. I think that when people aren't working for a "professional" general contractor, they think they can get away with being slow. Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1520004375599304552.post-40319530414101765552008-04-10T07:36:00.000-05:002008-04-10T07:36:00.000-05:00Oh, mom.Oh, mom.the Jennings secede from the Southhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01450909038527454552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1520004375599304552.post-71725413467301567572008-04-09T22:30:00.000-05:002008-04-09T22:30:00.000-05:00This is just par for the course...it is almost imp...This is just par for the course...it is almost impossible to get anything done on any kind of schedule these days. Jim once worked for a company (in Florida in one of his other lives) and was responsible for pouring a huge slab for a warehouse....he fired several suppliers if they were over five minutes late....he had other concrete people in the wings waiting to do the job....he met his deadline, but there were several casualties. I guess ya just gotta be tough.Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10591185636191168174noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1520004375599304552.post-8692247967084031512008-04-09T21:58:00.000-05:002008-04-09T21:58:00.000-05:00Just wanted to say hey and let you know I am enjoy...Just wanted to say hey and let you know I am enjoying your blog.
