WE HAVE A WINNER!

Following calculations and careful review by our internal auditor (that would be me), the WINNER has been determined-----------

CONGRATULATIONS- CAMERON-BIG MAMA'S FAVORITE BROWN EYED GRANDSON-ALL THE WAY FROM ATLANTA, GEORGIA

Cameron pulled off a last minute victory by posting his guess at 5:31 this afternoon, 29 minutes before the close of the poll. Cameron squeezed out Peter from St. Louis, MO by 1-since Peter had guessed 1300.

The actual mileage was 1409.2. Remember the rules said the nearest WITHOUT GOING OVER. There were a few closer guesses, but alas they were over.

To all of you that guessed FAR MORE MILES than I will EVER EVER EVER run & walk in a year-THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONFIDENCE IN MY ABILITIES. Your confidence was certainly WAY over the top in some cases-but HEY I APPRECIATE IT!

Post Script to Dutch-4675 may be a little over the top!

Cameron-congratulations and email me directions to send the beautiful Folette Peach Pie Plate to you!

Look, in the near future, for another contest with another FABULOUS PRIZE.

Oh, and congratulations to the winner! Peaches are big in Atlanta too. Isn't there a Peachtree 5K every year?

I thot 10 miles per day times 365 days and on weekends you run a bit more....geez.
Besides, i actually converted it into kilometers and i think i was right on the button.

It is, after all a 5K race and not 5m.

Oh well, just bring me some peach cobbler on an aluminum dish.

An besides, I traveled 584,020,178 miles without even getting off the sofa. (that's the number of miles the earth travels in its annual orbit.
